Spring/Easter Candy Sales

Every year before Easter, we do a “World’s Finest Chocolate” candy sale. This features all your favorite choices plus solid milk chocolate bunnies. Each item is $5 and goes directly to each student’s band account.

The 2010 sale is done and the candy should all be delivered by now. We do have some extra in the band office that will be sold until it’s gone. Please contact us via email if you would like some.

Dollar Candy Bars

Throughout the year, the band sells $1 “World’s Finest Chocolate” candy bars. The fundraiser profits go directly into each student’s band account.

Letter sent home in April 2010

Dear Parents & Students,

The Spring Lake High School Bands have chosen to sell World’s Finest Chocolate $1 candy bars in an effort to help raise funds for the band trip to Disney World in April of 2011.  The profits will go into individual student accounts.

Candy bar sales are usually very successful to family members, other students, and co-workers.

In order to receive a box of candy bars, students must turn in a check for $50 made payable to Spring Lake Bands.  The check will be deposited one month later.  $22.50 will be deposited into the student’s account.  The rest ($27.50) is used to pay the bill for the chocolate.  The dollars and coins collected by students are not to be turned in (that’s what the $50 check is for).

Please contact us if you have any questions.
