October 28 – MCBA Preliminary Finals – Okemos High School
3:30pm – rehearsal (students should bring a sack lunch to eat after rehearsal)
5:20pm – departure time
9:16pm – performance
11:45pm – return time (sorry, don’t know why they scheduled it so late at night)
Scores and awards will not be given at Prelims. Instead the order of performances at the state finals will be announced. Senior band members from each band will be recognized on the field before the band placements are announced.
November 4 – MCBA State Finals – Ford Field
8:15am – check in at school and load motorcoaches
9:00am – departure
3:30-4:15pm – Performance time TBD
9:00pm – return time
Meal stops will be made on the way there and the way back, probably in Brighton.
